Rainbow Six Siege: X
2025
Showcase of UI, UX & Motion Design work created for Year 10 of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, also known as Siege X.
Siege X brings significant changes to the game, among the new features and improvements brings a new, smoother interface.
The new UI was featured during the Year 10 Roadmap Reveal during the RE:L0:AD live event in Brazil.
The Player Journey Cell’s mandate is to guide & personalise each Players’ individual journeys throughout the game & enhance their experience.
ENHANCING PLAYER EXPERIENCE
Players can now access Challenges directly from the Player Hub, with a bookmarking feature to let Players track Challenges they are focusing on. A Progress Tracker that displays key player updates has also been enhanced as part of the style refresh.
The design for the In-Game Communications Hub was also refreshed to follow the new style Siege introduced this year – darker, more action, more speed.

DUAL FRONT MODE
A new visual progress system has been added for the Dual Front mode, where teams of six attack and defend simultaneously to complete extra goals.
I concepted and implemented the visual progression system as a fast way for players to see their progress – the more progress the player makes by completing objectives, the more broken the wall becomes in the background. Eventually the wall is breached, putting focus on the reward on completion.

AFTER ACTION REPORT
Additionally, the After Action Report and in-game communication features have also been refreshed for clarity and ease of use.
I concepted and implemented the new challenge completed motion design in the AAR to provide an aesthetically pleasing feeling of reward when players complete a challenge during a match.
